NC Appraisal Qualifying Education “Trainee” Series – Summer 2018
Each class below has an in-class exam at the end. The fee includes all books and handouts. Applicants holding a Bachelor’s degree are eligible to become a Certified Residential Appraiser or Certified General Appraiser. A high school diploma is required to become a trainee.
Class will start at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM of each day listed below.
These courses are required as part of an application with the NC Appraisal Board to register as a trainee in NC.
Basic Appraisal Principles (30 hours; 4 days) $550

Please note: recently The Appraisal Foundation ceased printing of hard copy 15-Hour National USPAP student manuals. As a result, students now will need to purchase their own electronic copy of the 15-Hour National USPAP student manual directly from The Appraisal Foundation. Please find the manual available for purchase on The Appraisal Foundation’s website.
Please note: Basic Appraisal Principles shall be a prerequisite to taking Basic Appraisal Procedures, and Basic Appraisal Procedures shall be a prerequisite to taking Residential Market Analysis and Highest and Best Use. The 15 hour USPAP course may be taken any time after the successful completion of Basic Appraisal Procedures.
