Prerequisites: Basic Appraisal Principles shall be a prerequisite to taking Basic Appraisal Procedures, and Basic Appraisal Procedures shall be a prerequisite to taking Residential Market Analysis and Highest and Best Use. The 15-Hour National USPAP Course may be taken any time after the successful completion of Basic Appraisal Procedures.

Except for the Supervisory Appraiser/Trainee Appraiser Course, each course listed above requires a proctored exam to be administered at the end of the class. The exams will be administered in-class, and there is no state exam. Fees listed above include all books and handouts, except for The Appraisal Foundation’s Student eManual for the 15-Hour USPAP Course.  See below for further details:

15-Hour National USPAP Course requires two books: (1)15-Hour National USPAP Course Book (“Book”)  and (2) 15-Hour National USPAP Course Student Manual (“Manual.”) We provide the Book to students as part of the course fee.  Students must purchase their individual electronic copy of the Manual directly from Appraisal Foundation (eManual.)
