The 2016-2017 General Update Course is a four (4) hour course that must be completed by all provisional brokers and non-BIC brokers who wish to renew their licenses on active status for the 2017-2018 license period. The General Update Course was developed by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission staff and covers brokerage teams, disclosure of material facts, square footage representations, and a licensing review.
