State Attendance Policies for Appraisal Seminars
The Appraisal Boards of AZ, CT, DC, GA, IA, KS, MA, ME, MI, MO, MS, NH, NY, OR, SC, TN, TX,  and VT require 100% attendance for successful completion of some or all courses. Most other states have a 90% minimum attendance requirement.  Please check with your licensing board on requirements.

Group Discounts and Custom Seminars
Discounts of up to 25% can be obtained for group enrollments of 5 or more. Arrangements can also be made for custom-tailored seminars for your office or professional organization or association. Call us at 800.268.6180 for more information.

Certification of Courses
Additional state certificates are $10 each ($20 in NC).

Class Policies (updated 08/23/2010)

There will be a $10 charge for all duplicate original certificates requested. This fee must be received before your certificate can be mailed.  Allow 5 business days to process your request.  The NCAB requires the original Qualifying Education certificate to apply for licensure or exam ticket.

Students are considered registered for their chosen classes unless contacted by BRIGHTPATH EDUCATION SERVICES. Credit Card receipt or cancelled check is your receipt unless you contact us with other needs. Reminder emails are usually sent 1-2 days before class. Other receipts are provided upon request.

Classes may be cancelled for enrollments of less than 14 students. This decision is made 3-5 business days before the beginning of class.  When a class is cancelled, refunds or rescheduling arrangements will be made for those students affected.

Students who need to cancel a Continuing Education class registration may receive a refund or register for another class with no additional charge if they notify BRIGHTPATH EDUCATION SERVICES at least 7 days before class. Students who cancel with less than one week notice, may register for another class at no additional charge. There will be a $50 fee for refunds requested with less than one week notice. Students who need to cancel a Pre- License, Qualifying Education, or Post-Lisense class registration may receive a refund (minus $75 administrative charge) or register for another class with no additional charge if they notify BRIGHTPATH EDUCATION SERVICES at least 7 days before class. Students who cancel with less than one week notice, may register for another class at no additional charge. There will be a $300 fee for refunds requested with less than one week notice.

Students who need to cancel a class that is full will be charged a $50 fee ($75 for Qualifying Education course) even if the student gives more than one week's notice.  If we have a waiting list and can fill the spot immediately, no fee will be charged.
